Best GMAT Test Preparation in United Kingdom

The Manhattan Review Philosophy

At Manhattan Review, we believe preparing for the GMAT means fully mastering the content underlying the test. Students become familiar with the test's structure, question formats, and tricks, but the core emphasis of our course is on achieving full mastery of the academic material. Our carefully constructed curriculum, based on comprehensive instruction and repeated practice, strengthens proficiency and builds confidence.

As students deepen their understanding of GMAT subject matter, they become increasingly comfortable with the tests's style of questioning. They learn to identify the different question types as well as the best ways to approach each question. They begin to understand the GMAT's method of assessing reasoning skills and the thought-process that went into developing each question. They also learn proper pacing tequniques to ensure they have the time to thoughtfully complete all the questions.

Founded by Professor Joern Meissner, who received a master's degree and PhD from Columbia Business School, Manhattan Review's intensive curriculum was developed partly based on Professor Meissner's work with Columbia MBA students. The US-based company's London unit has specifically tailored its curriculum to build on the approach to math and quantitative instruction used in the UK. Our tutors are British students and professionals who have achieved GMAT scores in the 95th percentile or higher.

The Route to High Scores

There are a finite number of concepts tested in the GMAT, and mastering the quantitative and verbal material, from probability to geometry to the rules of English grammar, is very achievable. Manhattan Review students receive thorough instruction on all the academic areas that the GMAT measures. This material is reviewed and practiced using diferent GMAT question formats. Students are trained to think like the test makers. They can recognize familiar patterns in test questions. They learn why different question formats are used to assess different skills and they can identify the best approaches for different question types.

London Manhattan Review GMAT Course Overview

Founded and based in the US, Manhattan Review offers courses in countries around the world. Each location's course curriculum takes into account local instructional styles and is designed to address needs specific to local students.

Our instructors in London have attended British schools and achieved top scores on the GMAT. We continually revaluate our courses to assess strengths and weaknesses of target groups of students in different locations. The curriculum is continually updated to incorporate the GMAT's latest changes as well any new techniques that have yielded success system-wide or in a specific region.

Maximum Skill Retention with Manhattan Review

Manhattan Review helps students improve the effectiveness of their studying through a curriculum where in-class instruction, practice exercises, online problem sets and homework reinforce each other. Practice exercises are used to help students put into practice the concepts they learned in class and indentify areas where further instruction is needed. Instructors review practice work to correct misconceptions and reinforce the lessons that have already been taught. Each week, increasingly difficult material is introduced. The cycle then repeats with another round of problem sets to help students measure their understanding of the latest lesson and apply what they have just learned to actual GMAT problems.
