Meet a Birmingham GMAT Tutor: Tina M.

Tina M. grew up in Berlin before moving to the US for college. Intent on establishing a career in international business, she earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Michigan. During her undergrad, she worked part-time as a tutor in her university's learning center and loved helping other students master concepts that came easily to her. Tina knew she wanted to obtain her MBA, so she prepared for the GMAT by participating in a classroom-style prep course. Her hard work was rewarded when she obtained an impressive score that allowed her to attend the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, Tina accepted a position with an investment firm and relocated to Birmingham. While Tina enjoyed the work she did, she soon found herself missing the sense of accomplishment she'd experienced when working directly with students. 

When Tina learned there was a local Manhattan Review office in Birmingham, she reached out about helping students prepare for the GMAT. She was soon welcomed to the team, and her courses fill up almost as quickly as they are announced.
